We need volunteers to make things happen. These are some of the ways you can help.
Fundraising
There are many ways to go about this but here are a few.
Events
Hold an event such as a slide show or film screening. The National Paddling Film Festival is one great way to raise money to cover your costs and donate to an expedition.
Corporate Donations and Sponsorships
We are particularly in need of medical supplies but expedition equipment is certainly welcome.
The 3 F's (Friends, Family and Fools)
Ask for a pledge. Sell some cookies. It works for the Girl Scouts.
Expedition Leader
Do you have what it takes to lead a group on a challenging whitewater or climbing expedition? Tell us your vision for a trip of a lifetime.
Expedition Doctor
We need doctors with a variety of specialties to manage our traveling medical clinics. Join the mailing list and add your skills and desires to the group database.
Expedition Volunteer
Each expedition will need a team of medically trained people once a leader and doctor are selected. To apply please join the mailing list and add your skills and desires to the group database.
Administrative Volunteer
We need people who are good with keeping books and keeping up with the mountain of paperwork that comes with volunteer organizations. Legal and accounting skills are at the top of our list.
Publicity
Help us get the word out. Write an article. Link to us from your blog. You name it!
